My Story, My Jewel: Evivid.
I’m Elena Vicente, Founder of Evivid, and this is my story.
I was born in Salamanca in 1972, the youngest of four siblings. From a young age, I felt drawn to nature—collecting stones on every trip and studying minerals as if they held a secret message. That bond with the earth, with the essential, has always been part of who I am.
I studied Mining Engineering in Madrid, specializing in Energy, driven by a curiosity to understand natural resources and how to transform them. It was a demanding, maledominated technical world, but through perseverance and a willingness to embrace challenges, I went on to lead innovative sustainability projects—such as those in vehicular natural gas.
Life then took me to Milan—a major shift for my family and a chance for personal transformation. I paused my engineering career to focus on my children and, at the same time, to honor a quiet passion: my love for stones, design, and the unspoken stories they carry.
That marked the beginning of a new chapter of learning and growth. I studied Gemology at the Spanish Gemological Institute (IGE), specialized in diamonds at HRD Antwerp, trained in jewelry and gemstone appraisal with AETA, mastered 3D jewelry design, took imageconsulting courses with ELLE Education, and completed jewelry craftsmanship training at Milan’s Scuola Ambrosiana.
My technical background and life experiences taught me to see through different eyes—understanding that true value lies not in perfection, but in what resonates with who We are. I believe in diversity and how our identity reflects in what We wear.
To Me, true luxury lives in the small moments felt deeply. In a fastpaced world, what matters is rediscovering what makes Us unique, connecting with our emotions and our personal mission.
And that’s how Evivid was born.
Evivid is the natural outcome of My journey: a fusion of rigor and sensitivity.
